Mom Charged With Killing 3-Year-OldThe mother
accused of drowning her 3-year-old son last month was charged with
first-degree murder Thursday.
Investigators said that Aimee Cunningham allegedly killed her son,
Brennon Cunningham. The boy's father found him unresponsive and wet on a
bed inside the family's Ohio Street home on Feb. 20.
Aimee Cunningham's husband told police that his wife greeted him when
he came home from work that day, and was upset, Local 4 reported. She
asked him to go to the store. When he returned, she was walking out of the
couple' home with two of their children, sources told Local 4.
The man reportedly asked his wife where Brennon was and she left
without responding, according to Local 4. He found the boy unresponsive in
a bedroom.
The child was taken to Henry Ford Hospital where he was later
pronounced dead.
Cunningham turned herself in to police the following day.
